We provide recommendations to individuals and groups for adapting small computer systems to perform tasks in the "I know it can be done, but how do I do it" category.

The saying, "the solution, when found, will be simple," often applies to such tasks.  Let us help you find answers.  Older and lower-cost components frequently are adequate.  Proprietary products can be considered when licenses are available.

Software that is Open Source can be licensed, often at low or no cost.  We will consider its use with you when software installations are not intended to be long term, or when appropriate licenses are not available, or if you have an adventurous curiosity about computers.

Specific projects that we have done include:
          Installation of proprietary operating systems
          Installation of Linux operating systems
          Installation of operating systems on virtual drives
          Development of Open Source programs
          Copying of files from floppy disks to CD-ROM media
          Upgrading memory
          Configuring dual monitors
          Back-up of files to local USB drives and to external and network hard drives
          Saving of files to the Internet (the "cloud")
